Join us on Thursday, August 21, from 5 to 7pm, for a behind the scenes look at Picturing Histories: European Works on Paper from the BMA’s Collection, a collection-focused installation that explores the different ways artists depicted, altered, or inserted themselves into history. 

This event series is typically reserved for Museum members, but we are opening it to the public. Come experience the perks of membership for yourself!

You will have the chance to meet Museum curators and staff, while examining thirteen works of European art thoughtfully chosen from our permanent collection. The event will begin with a brief welcome from our Membership Manager Dianne Williams, followed by a walk through the installation with Maggie Crosland, The Fariss Gambrill Lynn and Henry Sharpe Lynn Curator of European Art.
